Default Hi 2 pair vs low w/AA

I'm a green stud/8ob player trying to get some hands under me. I mainly try to play hands I can scoop with and high pairs, but have trouble deciding how long or aggressive to play high pairs. Vil4 seems to make solid decisions while Vil6 seems looser and more willing to hang around drawing to the end. Thanks for the input.

if you want to play correctly you should fold with an A already in the hand.

Since the Ace limped, odds are he's probably going low but it's still not worth getting involved here IMO. And wow did villains play their (trash?) hands timidly.

I would limp on third. Folding would also be fine. By completing, you're just building a pot with a weak hand. Having an Ace already in makes this hand less-than-attractive. Fourth through fifth are OK. You should be toast on the river, but who knows at this level. Calling can't be that far wrong.

Why fold on 3rd? KK typically no good w/ another pair at this level or no chance to scoop?

High pairs are OK in short-handed pots, preferably heads-up. They have a decent chance to scoop when the low hands bust out. If you're against multiple opponents going low, it is not to be expected that they will all bust.
