1/2 NL should i have done something different?
Full 1 / 2 NL Table at the Tropicana in AC. I have about $300 in chips and am in the small blind. I have also played maybe 2 hands in the last two hours. A little on the table: no cheap flops, even with large preflop bets you are likely to get a few callers. I have 10c 10s on the button. Five limps to me and I make in $20 to go. Villain ($400) in mid position raises the bet to $40 and I call. Flop comes Ks Kd 3c. Villain bets $50 and I reraise to $150 very quick smooth call by villain. Turn come 8s. Check. Check. River comes Jd. Check. Check………what do you guys think of my checks on the turn and river? Results to follow.

Re: 1/2 NL should i have done something different?
Being limp raised scares the sh*t out of me. Maybe lead the the flop so you don't have to committ so much by c/r. I'd probably c/f the flop or maybe c/c then evalute if I am suspicious. Obviously you can not put any more money in after your c/r is called. Turn and river checks seem fine.

Limp/raising is a stupid fish move that usually indicates a massive hand. Preflop if you call his raise you are usually calling for set value only. In this position I would fold the flop, you're not beating anything. Putting any more money in the pot is throwing it away. |

If you're not willing to put money in on later streets concede the hand on the flop.
