Guys,

Illl probably eat an extra rare veal chop, and sop all the extra blood with some spinach, fried in bacon grease of course, in honor of all you vegetarians.

OP, how do you feel about all the rabbits and squirrels and groundhogs that were killed in the threshers that harvested the grains for your cereal? They are even less intelligent than your average pig or cow.

Guids,

I know you're joking, but I never understand meat-eaters who are contemptful toward vegetarians. In other words, whenever a discussion about vegetarianism comes up, there's always someone who says something like this, thinking they're the first person to say it.

I think it mostly comes from the higher-than-average level of smug holier-than-thou attitude that seems to come from the vegetarian community as a whole.

To be honest, I can't seem to justify eating humans, so why should I discriminate against less intelligent animals and eat them?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is so stupid, come on dude. There's no peace and harmony and all that [censored], animals eat one another too. You're either laying your will into the world or its laying its will into you.

[/ QUOTE ]

Humans murder each other as well. You can choose not to be a part of it though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, this does smack a little of "yer either fer us or agin us!" A bit odd, especially since I don't think chickens or cows are particularly angry with me.

Why, because you can't refute it?

This is probably one of those things where if you have to ask the question, you won't understand the answer. Or maybe where you'd only ask the question if you already knew there was no point in asking it.
