Re: 2/4 PLO Cash hand advice needed
Read on Vic would be great.
I'd 3bet this preflop in position. Esp if Vic can raise with cards other than AAxx, then I'D DEF 3bet this. As played, I'd repot this. |

Re: 2/4 PLO Cash hand advice needed
Why are you guys re-potting? He's c-betting into a big field, I doubt he's doing that with aces unless he has the NFD with it. Feel free to tell me why I'm wrong if you think so, I'm still learning this devil-game

Re: 2/4 PLO Cash hand advice needed
People are advocating repot because you have a gut shot straight draw/ flush draw combo on a board where no one likely has a set, and your reraise may scare off higher flush draws.

Re: 2/4 PLO Cash hand advice needed
Is it going to scare off AAxx with NFD? I think this is a strong bet by vic, why over-commit yourself with non-nut draws and a pair that's never good?

Re: 2/4 PLO Cash hand advice needed
Reraising preflop as a beginner without reads is not a good idea. Just call and take a look at the flop.
On the flop your opp is betting into four players, so is less likely to be making a standard continuation bet with a weak hand. Two players have checked to the preflop raiser and could be going for a check raise. If you call you can see what the other players do, and will be in position on the turn...preferably heads up. The disadvantage is you might lose to a naked A or K high flush, who might have folded if you raised. I don't think this hand is standard at all. Heads up it would be standard to raise here, but an unknown betting into four players is a little tougher. |

Re: 2/4 PLO Cash hand advice needed
I was explaining their posts. My view is that for a newbie this is a fold, especially if they dont have a feel for any of the players. Hu, its playable.
