Default Easy vista question I suppose

I've tried some google searching for my answer but haven't found what I'm looking for. Basically I'm selling Windows Vista Business Express Upgrade (OEM) and from what I understand to install this, you would need a previous MSFT OS installed like win xp for example. I was wondering if you could install the upgrade on multiple systems or is there a feature that prevents this from happening, i.e. can only be installed once specific to the motherboard of first install?

The media is typically all the same (except with the basic restriction with upgrade vs. full media). All that matters is one OEM key per computer, though I think technically according to their EULA, OEM licenses are non-transferrable once it's been installed with a motherboard.

I think it's more of a licensing issue than a technical issue in your case.

If you use the same key on multiple systems without having a site license then yes, MS will get a little upset that you are stealing licenses from them. Vista pays more attention to that than XP did, but I'm not sure what they do when the find out.
