Changing your displayed player name in WSOP

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience where they changed their displayed player name in the WSOP. For example, I'm sure MrSmokey1 had to talk to someone to get 'MrSmokey1' to appear in between his first and last name. Also, many of the top tournament players like Men and Minh don't go by their legal names; they had them changed to Men and Minh for tournaments. Do you just speak to a tournament director to accomplish this? Any help appreciated.

There is of course Prince of Docness... didn't he cash in the OE event? I saw a report of him getting pretty deep...

The staff has nothing to do with how or if your status is reported. If media knows you, then you will be reported on, otherwise you have to wait until late in the tourney and then someone will ask you your name. tell them whatever you want, I guess
