Re: my shoe collection
[ QUOTE ]
What shoes should I get? Shoe 1 Shoe 2 [/ QUOTE ] I wouldnt be caught dead in either, but if forced it would be 2. The Euro guy is spot on, most of these shoes arent up my alley. It seems that most of them are trying to be fancy, or upscale, but casusual at the same time, this is never a good look. If you are going to wear nice shoes, wear nice shoes, if you are going to wear tennis shoes, wear tennis shoes, the hybrid crap is disgusting. Also, suede, or suede like shoes that are "nappy", like a bunch in this thread are no good, stop buying them. |

Re: my shoe collection
guids,
Maybe that is the impression these shoes give off, but for me my thought process is this. I want footwear, which aren't sandals/flip flops that I can wear sockless. I already have enough competent dress shoes. These are half price. |

Re: my shoe collection
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] In good old paint tradition i will explain this difficult issue: The left piece of art shows how it is usually done. It is a simple and effective way to lace your shoes. The right masterwork shows a less practical way to do so, but which is often times seen as more elegant with a cleaner look. And thats the reason why shops use this lacing technique frequently: It looks better with most dress shoes. [/ QUOTE ] A ton of shoe lacing methods at: http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/lacingmethods.htm I use straight (European) for most of my dress shoes. Just looks neater. My sneakers are all criss-cross. [/ QUOTE ] You got to love the internet for links like this. I like especially his " Ian Knot " for tying laces. And I thought i know it all... |

Id go with something like this: http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/PRADA/...091A/areaid/35 There isnt a huge difference between the two, but enough so that it matters imo. |

Re: my shoe collection
i suck at shoes and can use some help. this is what i have, i'm looking for 2-3 new pairs for summer. and i don't really care for the really low 'british' look that seems to be really popular now (similar to the pumas i have, i guess) like those brown poop colored ones OP has 5 of.
(my color is a little different here) |
