He eventually told me he had QQ so that was a little dissapointing, in retrospect 3.5 is a pretty large overbet but I didnt want to commit my stack to find out he had freaking AK or some wierd 2 pair or something. The board isnt that drawy so I dunno... this hand sucks. :P Lets hear your thoughts on how you would play this one. *Edit - also now/in the future - do I need to edit other player's names out of my post?? Thanks. |

To get responses here you'll need to post in a more friendly format. There is a converter here:
poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php MAKE SURE YOU SELECT 2+2 AS "FORMAT" Output the selection then cut and paste here and you should be good to go. |

Re: TPGK - Owned by aggro player
If UTG is super aggro then you can raise/shove the flop to isolate UTG. I dont like to take this hand 3 way to the river, but given your read, I think its fine to call seeing as you are in position and check behind the river. Ive seen lots of people double barrel and give up.

Re: TPGK - Owned by aggro player
ah thanks, I'll be sure to convert my hands next time. On FCP they usually just take em right out of PT.
Yeah this guy wasnt overly aggro in general, just the way he played this hand... it was confusing because of my read and I feel like my hand was borderline although thinking back - that 3.50 on the turn when there is a blank - would he really play KK AA or AK like that? Probably not. What about JJ? no probably not... he was trying to scare me off the hand or possibly playing KJ (unlikely) mb AQ or AJ as some sort of semi bluff or in the actual case, playing QQ pretty badly (it won the pot but if I had AK I would have def. called the turn and probably shoved to be honest) |
