What an awesome episode. Only three things, since everything else has pretty much been said, I'm sure:

1. I knew Sil was going to get it after the little "Raging Bull" homage. Great little scene, one I'll remember from the show.

2. Some people should stick to simpler TV. Please try American Idol and Bingo Night in America. It will be better for all involved.

3. I've been hoping for a long time that they'd be able to figure out a way to write a scene involving Meadow sans clothes. It doesn't look like that's going to happen. Only disappointing thing about this series, so far.

What a retarted thing to say. This isn't a masterpiece play youre watching, it's a tv show about the mob. Come down from that mountain.

Hi. You're right. It's better than a masterpiece play.

Big Howie Mandel fan, amirite?????

I'm so excited for next week and love the insight (and lack of at points) in this thread. I think Syl's loyal to the end and like the possibility of Phil getting whacked - hec both T and Phil might go which would provide closure.

Lack of closure I think will be the biggest disappointment next week. But I'm still looking forward to it.

this can't be a "happy ending" for tony. it just can't. however, i have a feeling it won't end well for phil, either.

To all the people who demand an explanation for "Why didn't Silvio have a gun in his hand?":

Have you ever packed for a trip, and been extremely rushed? Those of us who've had this unpleasant experience know what it's like--your brain is in a million places at once, trying to figure what to take, what to leave, what did you forget, how much time do you have left, etc.

You always forget SOMETHING in a spot like that, usually something important.

Something I was thinking, Silvio has rarely killed/beat up people compared to other mobsters. At the beginning we saw him almost mess up what seemed like a fairly simple and easy hit. Out of all the characters he is one who seems fairly human compared to Tony, Paulie, Chris, etc. I think the fact that he is unprepared is a reflection of this.

Just watched it, was hard not to look in here especially after seeing how many posts the episode had generated.

Where was Chris during this episode?
