Raise all pocket pairs preflop from any position.
Reraise QQ, KK and AA, AK, AKs and maybe JJ depending on position. Betting the flop depends on your reads of the villain. If the villain likes to C-Bet a lot, then let him C-Bet and pot size raise him. If he is very passive, then you should lead the betting. |

[/ QUOTE ] You're here to improve, don't be offended or scared off if people say you misplayed something. A lot of posters (myself included) can put things harshly for the sake of brevity, but we're all here to help each other and you can learn a lot if you're willing to put some effort in. Fact is, if this is your thinking about JJ, I doubt your winning player, so stick around and become one. |

huge hand? youll be suprised of the things u see on poker stars. [/ QUOTE ] Unfortunately, Sklansky and Miller and Gordon and Harrington wrote their books based on mathematical expectation, rather than what they see on Poker Stars, but I think they'll still agree that JJ + first into the pot = raise. |
