Default pot odds call? push? fold? weird predicament

check out my stack size b4 you respond. this is a 30 buy in now in progress.

Full Tilt Poker

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $60/$120
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $5800
hamnegger: $1347
MP1: $4094
MP2: $3600
MP3: $9850
CO: $11299
Button: $4855
SB: $7095
BB: $10680

Why aren't you opening AI? I am not folding AQ PF to leave myself with 8 BB.

AI pf.

as played, push. Your are only totally wacked if he has AA, and you are getting to the point that you need to get some chips. Sitting around with that chip stack is terrible.

You have to open shove this. You dont have any room to play postflop poker. As played, you cant fold here AQ and leave yourself with 8BB, so shove. Calling is only good if you are planning on pushing any flop.

i didnt shove bc i wanted action from mid pairs or outkicked hands. i was shoving on the flop if called no matter.

No, if you easily have the possibility of creating a pot with a LOT of callers and guaranteeing youself out. What do you leave yourself to do after the flop? This is an easy push preflop.

If you just call, you will get outplayed on the flop pretty much 100% of the time -- you either open-push and only get called by a better hand, or you check and he puts you all-in with anything. Or you flop an ace and kill your action from KK/QQ/JJ. This is an all-in PF, and you probably should have jammed right away.
