Re: $22 10k Lost with QQ

Lead flop about 500. Call a push. [/ QUOTE ] You really think calling a push is profitable? Somehow i think we will end up looking at JJ+, AK hearts alot. People really bluff that much early on? |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I guess thats why I like a check. If we lead out here dont we fold out AK and 99, TT type hands? [/ QUOTE ] Thats the reason to bet, cause if a 99 or AK folds out us after we check its terrible. Just lead for 450 and find out where you stand, if he puts you all in then it really gets tricky. I have no clue what to do. [/ QUOTE ] Where is the value of leading out here? At least when I check I get worse hands like 99 and AK to bet, where as if I lead most of the time I'm just folding out all the hands I was beating before. [/ QUOTE ] There is no value, it just helps you to make the decision for all your chips. Ok so you check he bets 600 and you check-raise all in. That wins you 1200 if you are right, and loses you 3000 if you are wrong and eliminates you. This move has to work 70% of the time to show profit. (If you have 1500 starting chips its all easier, you just check-raise all-in like you said). |
