Men Nguyen and Freddy Deeb come to mind. The interviewer could be lying about exact details... Mr. Busto doesn't necessarily have to be in his mid 30's and didn't necessarily have to bust out in the way described.

Freddy Deeb Eliminated

Eric Froehlich raised from late position to 3,000, and Freddy Deeb called from the big blind. The flop came {Q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Deeb bet 1,500, Froehlich raised to 3,000, Deeb moved all in for 3,700, and Froehlich called.

Deeb showed {J-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for jack high, and Froehlich had the lead with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} -- a pair of queens. The last two cards were {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and Freddy Deeb was eliminated from the tournament.

This has Josh Arieh written all over it. Lindgren has been staking him for a loooong time. He is married with 3 children and both their parents live in Atlanta. I've seen him playing 400/800 mixed games at Bellagio w/Chau and Chan. I know he splurged on cars and a house after 2004-2005. He does play online. I know last year he talked about moving out to Vegas permanently. The overall tone of the interview sounds like Josh as well.

However, he did not win anything big last year except for a 500k Bodog tourney.

This is all wild speculation of course, I have no inside information.

Just that his wife left him a few months ago and took the kids.

really? didn't know that.

[/ QUOTE ]

I meant in the interview (in OP's post) the guy said his wife left him and took the kids. Not that there was an actual divorce (yet).

I still think it's Hellmuth even though he's a bit older. Note the golf, craps and baccarat. Wife and kids.

[/ QUOTE ]

No way in hell Hellmuth is so honest and humble. And i'm pretty sure he's got plenty on money from his books and DVD's. He wouldn't praise online players like that.
