im just saying that in the poker world NL200 is nothing, but in the early 20 college students life, 1 NL200 buyin is often 2 full days of work. The only way to get properly staked for a game like NL500 is to sell drugs or hit it big online, that or be young and have an insanely good paying job or rich parents.

Gild,

There are a tonne of good games in TO. I know a regular 5/10 game where its usually like $100 to see a flop.

I'm leaving Toronto to move back to Korea in a week, so I don't care if they get infested.

PM me if you're interested

live poker in general is just one huge beat

"live pros" are always the most annoying [censored], 20 hands an hour, full ring, people at the table never shut the [censored] up and half of them are more annoying than jamie gold, etc etc

Word. This one guy kept talking about how T4 of spades was his favorite hand because he made a straight flush with it twice so he always plays it from any position. He also tried to start an argument with me that there was no difference between Q2o and Q2s and he will play both. And then he berated a guy for limping 34o UTG.

Gildwulf,

Canada is right next to Washington, so next time I have a homegame, you should come.

I'm downtown TO too (University/Queen)... I've only been to a couple 1/2 NL games downtown. Can somebody PM me some better games? I'm up for 2/5+ NL or 10/20+ limit.
