Honestly this seems more like venting than a strategy question. People will do this crap with AK, any pocket pair, or who knows what else. Worrying about this because you think someone called you with 43 is silly.

I play 25NL so my information could be wrong. Given that it's 50NL, I would have raised more PF. So I don't know, the flat call is kinda scary with no reads. My main point was that I'm worried about a 3 here exactly never. Occasionally they'll have 44 and at $25 NL, an unknown can have my stack if they flop a boat.
