No question you did the right thing. Thank you for doing so. I would also like to applaud PS for their quick action. That is the reason I play there and not on UB any longer.

yeah seriously, why the eff would you feel like a rat fink?

I email stars this [censored] all the time. even when its likely not collusion and just some [censored] lagtard who missed a draw I still email them. Takes them like 30 seconds to see if something fishy is going on and if not its no big deal.

Just a follow up:

received email from support(see below). Only thing I changed was to x out my name. I was not looking for money like I alluded to before, (although I'll take it). I am glad on one hand because I know I'm not crazy, but I also feel like a rat fink. I have never reported anyone for anything before. (Hint: fishing for affirmation that I did the right thing).

Also, I didn't mention it before because it could have been a coincidence, but the two players both joined the table at the same time, where from the same city, and left on the same round at their big blinds.

Hello xxxx,

Thank you for your report and patience regarding the two players you
recently faced in a cash game. These players were in violation of our
poker room rules. You were involved in one or more hands with these

players. Based on a rollback of hands in which you may have been
harmed,
your account has been credited $71.28.

After careful review we have permanently closed the accounts in
question.
In addition we have implemented measures to prevent these individuals
from
playing on the site using any other account.

The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance to
us
and we will not abide unfair play in our games. We work hard to police
our games to assure our players of a fair, secure place to play. In
the
rare cases where collusion has actually occurred, we make sure that any
players affected are compensated appropriately.

Thank you for your continued play here on PokerStars. Please do not
hesitate to let us know any time we can be of help.

Regards,

Tim

yeah, no reason to feel like a rat-fink.
If it's players who are trying to cheat you and everyone else out of money you absolutely want to help Stars identify thes players.

Same home-town and showing up and leaving the table at the same time?? Wow.
And then they go crazy in the hands like that on top of it all.
Pretty clear it's not just a coincidence.
