Re: NL 10 : Straight on paired multiway
Call river. You are ahead here a lot to people who still think their 3 Aces are good.
You could also raise the turn more for value. If villain has an Ace they aren't going anywhere. |

With a backdoor flush and a full house possible, I think a call is good.

Re: NL 10 : Straight on paired multiway
Raise turn a little bigger. I'd call river, because the flush also got there. You're still ahead of A-x a lot, so I wouldn't fold, but I wouldn't raise either.

[/ QUOTE ] i don't get this, can you clarify? the flush also got there, that means we are beating even less hands than before. why would this be an incentive to call? |

why would this be an incentive to call? [/ QUOTE ] Since it's an incentive not to raise. |

[/ QUOTE ] Sure, I can see where I might have been unclear. I don't mean that because the flush got there, we should call (as opposed to fold). I mean that we should call as opposed to raise. If the river didn't complete a flush I'd raise, because I don't imagine anyone folding an ace at this level. I've never played 10NL however, so I'm not positive on that. |
