Should I have gotten away from this sooner? Or maybe stuck with it?

If you had some PT stats on villian this might be easier, but VS a shorty I might just fold pre. You have a bad hand, and after the re-raise (from the BB) you are praying he has TT or air. You should have made your decision pre vs an opponent this short. You probably wounlnd't feel any better about your hand if you hit the ace....

When he puts in 20% of his money pre OOP, if he isn't a donk your way behind...

I am trying to lay down AK more and more in 3 bet pots online. You are either racing or dominated. Truth is, you aren't really racing, you will probably have to make your decision on the flop, which means that you are only seeing 3 cards instead of all 5. I know your hand was AJ, so you can think about this a little further, AK &gt; AJ...

The only way I'm playing AJ here, is if the reraiser is a maniac.
