Do you guys like a stackadonk line here (i.e. lead flop and CRAI on turn)? I thought checking the turn was best to either c/r or to get extra value from mid PP on the river. You guys like it or would you prefer to just lead the turn?

I tend to bet bet bet 28/5 without a read they are aggro

tend to watch the turn check way too often

I was thinking I'd get the best of both worlds with a check. If he takes a stab I get to CRAI but if he doesnt its still good becuase i should be able to extract more value from a mid pair on the river so I wasnt too concerned about him checking.

I figured both of these options were better than leading into him with a decent bet when he probably has a vulnerable hand and the Q may be a scare card for him (which could have easily hit my AQ/KQ that c-bet a whiffed flop).

Just my thought process.

I understand all that, its just in my experience and I'm stubborn/greedy too, they just check the turn time after time

call the river and have a hand they'd call 2bets with and I get mad for not betting

Q isnt the best card for stack a donk here IMO. I would just normally lead here again hoping he thinks im just using that Q as a scarecard. Also with stack a donk line u are commiting yourself on turn which isnt terrible but I would like an option to maybe get away sometimes on turn.

I Like your river bet.

I think the line isn't bad but I'd prefer to bet turn and then put a smallish valuebet on the river. Once he's called turn he's very unlikely to fold river to another bet that looks like you are slowing down

I like it, I would need more of a read to bet the turn too. Also if you had a crazy image you could bet the turn.

Playing that way is fine. It can also save you money (although easier with position) if you're up against a flopped set.
