Stars WSOP qualifiers

In the FPP satellite to ME thread Scotty said that under 21's were welcome to play in them since cash would be given out and not registered seats. Does this apply to all wsop satellites?

Yeah that's what I figured, but just wanted a confirmation that nothing funny would be pulled because I'm shy of 21 by a bit.

I have a question that seems related so I'll include it here rather than start a new thread. If you accumulate over $10k in W$ can you buy in to the ME and therefore receive the $10k in cash? Also, if you have extra W$ left over what happens to it? Converted to cash? Held on to until next years WSOP satellites start up? Deleted?

Nothing happens to it. W$ is used not just for WSOP, but for EPT, WCOOP, and other big events as well.

read the terms and conditions to all satellites b4 playing. the stars fpp satellites do not pay cash last time i checked they explicitly state do not play if you are not able to attend the wsop. i think they gave out some sort of stars tourney credits or something. however i did see a post regarding some changes in satellite payouts or something so things could have changed, but i suggest you read the terms and cond b4 assuming anything.

i thought i could win a 10,000 seat and use it to play several of the smaller events but that was not the case. again this was a while ago so things could have changed, but i suggest you check for your self could be a terrible waste of fpp points.
