I have a pretty dominating personality and Jack is pretty meek and mild-mannered. I think if I tried to talk to him about it he would be really reluctant to say anything along the lines of telling me I shouldn't go after Amy. I think he would come away from the conversation feeling that I took advantage of him or something. Thats why I'd like to get a good idea of whether my original thought (which is that I'm justified in asking her out) is correct from an unbiased sample. So far the majority seems to side with me, so I'll probably act accordingly.
