I'd check with the intention of folding if he bets again. Given your reads, it just seems like it is too early for him to be getting overly aggressive with a worse hand here.

Edit: If he checks behind, I'd lead most rivers as a value/blocking bet.

i considered check/foldiing but decided to bet out on the turn. not 100% sure why.

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
7 folds, Hero raises to t150, BB raises to t350, Hero calls t200.

Flop: (t700) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets t350, Hero calls t350

Turn: (t1400) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, t900

with the intention of folding to a raise and probably check/folding or calling the river depending on bet size/card etc...

edit: added suits
