Default Verizon FiOS?

Does anyone have it?
How does it compare to Comcast Cable in terms of reliability and speed?

I used to have cable and frequently had all sorts of problem. We finally got rid of it and switched to Fios maybe a year ago. Much much less problems and more reliable imo.

The wireless router we got with ours has caused some problems. Wireless internet was never a problem with Comcast here. I'd be curious to see if others have had the same problem.

I'm assuming I can use my regular wireless router I have if I get Verizon FiOS?

Fios has been great here in Md. I have it for everything, and it has outclassed comcast in every way.

i don't understand what is different about FiOS compared to regular cable. they're all like, 'we has a fiberoptic network' and i'm all like, i thought everybody had that.

EDIT: and OP, this is the second one-sentence OP you have made tonight, cut it the [censored] out right [censored] now

They were two regular questions...I know you really love the veneer of the internet, but stop being an 8 year old and just let people discuss.

Nt,

You can get sick details at various forums but put simply, FIOS is a next generation technology delivering much more bandwidth and quality. You were mistaken or mislead about everyone having that. My block is being wired and I plan to switch asap to get away from that dog that is comcast which cannot deliver even SD reliably and without pixelation. And hopefully their DVR has a better option to resolve conflicts than recording nothing at all.

The internet is better too but frankly I care more about the tv than my d/l speeds.
