-pet shop and save a dog

-cigarettes, scratch lottery tickets (though they may not be valid)

-Assuming its a small grocery store that only has food items, probably just grab some steaks.

dollar stores
-If you're poor, basic supplies you'd have to buy anyways like deodorant, shampoo, etc. If you're not poor I don't think the risk vs reward is not worth it.

I would prey upon the weakest of my fellow looters. Let them do the actual looting and just steal their loot.

First store hit for me would be a canadian tire or home depot where I would fashion a way to catch other looters, most likely a really large net. Once this trap is complete the answer to all stores in OP would be to set up my net by the front door once other looters are inside...the second they walk out I catch them in my giant net trap, throw all the goods in a shopping cart and move to the next store.

Wal-Mart or Meijer first I would hit the bank is in the frong of most of these stores. Then I would hit up either the video games or jewelry department. I want something small and easy to resell (ebay). I would also stay away from the guns. If you are in a large roit, the odds of you getting caught are small. Though if you steal guns, the FBI and the ATF will be called in to recover said guns. Besides, these stores don't carry any really cool firearms.

id skip the booze. too difficult to transport. just get more cartons of cigarettes instead.

looting's the easy part here. having to sell all the stuff you stole might take ages unless you have a good fence willing to take your stuff in bulk.
