Default JJ flat calls a 3bet OOP and here I go again

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $50.25
BB: $50.00
UTG: $50.95
Hero (MP): $97.08
CO: $84.95
BTN: $35.65

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J (6 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $2.00, CO folds, BTN raises to $8.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $6.00

Flop: ($16.75) K A 4 (2 Players)
Hero tries to formulate a plan knowing that if he checks he will almost certainly face a bet

Thought spott.

Without the J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] this is a check/fold against an unknown for me. I think I check/call this flop and fold to any further agression on a blank. Villain might slow down on the turn so you get to see a free river card, or he is betting the turn for protection and you're behind in that case.

Ditto (as long as the flop bet isn't something stupid)

I have no problem just c/f. Villain won't pay us off if we hit a club, and playing this hand OOP is going to be tough. Just saw that villain is pretty short if he is pretty aggressive I'd much rather 4 bet pf.

Ugh, I really hate PF. Buttons short and we're OOP. This is about the best flop you can hope for with the second nut draw outside of flopping a set.

I lead because simply betting is best at the micros and I'm obviously calling a raise/pushing.

I rarely do this at the micros but crai is fine as well b/c it traps some money from worse hands.

You know, this post of mine got less respect than it deserved. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Preflop is probably a push or fold but I'm leaning towards a push. I don't hate the call if effective stacks are a full buyin.

Really need a read of some sort but if they're short, I'll often push as they'll call with any PP and some bad Ax hands.

A call is horrible IMO if you're going c/f unless the flop is T high or you hit your set.

IMO, best play is either check/fold or check raise all-in. I don't know which I like more.

check raise all in=decent fold equity, but then again I've been getting called by lots esp. at nl$50. Might not be bad though.

check fold=if you lead the flop you have already put so much into the pot.

Iīm not folding, and if you think he will bet I cr ai. The only thing you really donīt want to see is a bigger pair with the Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. With the dead money I figure it is going to be slightly +EV. But I would push pf.
