Upon Review of the Top 21 Sites...
i just visited a site that details the top sites by traffic. the site also denotes which US players are not allowed. i was very surprised to see that 12 of the 21 sites dont allow US players.
i dont understand this. why should the sites disallow US players just because of our crappy laws? what do they care as long as we can deposit and withdraw? i can understand if the site is publicly traded so that the principles are known and may get arrested if travelling to the US. but my guess is most are private companies so that info is not known. if principles are that fearful of getting busted in the US, stay at home. there are many other places in the world to visit and sight see. end rant. |

They would rather be clear of legal issues and have a steady, minimum income then break laws and suffer future consequences.

its legal in the site's home country. what could the future consequeses be? i doubt they would allow an extradition to the US. unless they have oil, we wont invade
edit: there was a post in legislation about the World Trade Organization saying that its unlawful for the US to try to stop sites from accepting yanks. we of course ignored them. |
