Default NL25 99 HU

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $17.00
BB: $24.90
Hero (UTG): $26.75
CO: $24.65
BTN: $17.90

Reads: Villain is 18/13 over a large sample size. No sense of position, his UTG vpip is larger than from CO for instance.

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
Hero raises to $1.00, 3 folds, BB raises to $3.00, Hero calls $2.00

Flop: ($6.10) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets $4.00, Hero ?

Preflop is bad I think, ppl usually have so thin 3-betting ranges at 25NL from what I've heard/seen.
Now, that's an overpair and I have no clue where I'm at. Is raise/fold a sensible line here for instance? Or spewish

call flop and fold turn is pretty standard in this spot. i don't hate just folding the flop though.

If you think he's only doing this with overpairs then you fold the flop. But a lot of the time this is AK, AQ in which case it may be good to float. Depends on whether you think villain will fire a 2nd barrell with OC.

shove/fold, if you got AF stats for him which indicate that he might just be c-betting you might want to float him as well.
Otherwise you're either against 2 overcards or an overpair .
