With so many people in the pot, I decided just to let my hand go after flop. Thought it was not good to bet into 3 people. Too nitty?

raise more pf 120-150. as played, vs. unknowns i might make a stab at the flop since 2 people checked to you, but c/f is fine too.

Well played IMO. You could go more PF, but t100 is the minimum.

Yeah, a nice preflop raise here (140-180 at the 10/20 level) probably would've given you the hand. With an ace and two diamonds on the board, any betting post-flop is going to be called by someone who probably has you beat, and that sucks. You may have put in a 3xBB bet when all was checked to you, but you were right to put it down in the end. You were clearly beaten. Hope this helps. Take care.

I agree well played four people calling in the first round. Chances are too great one has an ace and is willing to take to his grave. There is alot of poker left to be played in this SnG. AS for the preflop raise 100 is good in the early rounds. Too much makes it harder to get away from.

I can't imagine a half-pot bet on the flop or turn being -EV here.
They had great odds preflop, so an A is not mandatory. An A flopped and it was checked to you, decreasing the chance they have an A. They also expect you to have one. Will they call/raise you 66% of the time? I doubt it. |
