Anyone ever had an interacct transfer REVERSED unilaterally by a site?

Just curious about this, since I've been doing a lot of transfers with people -- it's a non-negotiable policy of mine to never send first, figuring that this is an iron-clad safeguard against being scammed.
But I'm curious about whether anyone has ever had a poker site reverse an interacct transfer (perhaps at the request of the original transferor...or perhaps if they found out that the funds that were transferred were procured b/c of fraud/collusion or what not).

I guess I'm just wondering whether my "never send first" protocol might still be subject to exploitation somehow...e.g. I know that there have been reports that PAYPAL transfers have been reversed by Paypal (and hence doing any money swapping via Paypal is too risky for me)...just wondering if there's a similar risk w/ poker sites.

I reversed a transfer on Poker Stars since I sent it to wrong name, and Poker Stars reversed it for me. But I assume it was only reversed because noone played with the money and it was only $ 11, and they told me it is one time deal only.

But I guess it is possible if you keep a significant bankroll on the site, they can never know if you recieved the money by right or by mistake, so I imagine it is possible

I got a transfer on FTP reversed due to a scammer.

I bet that makes you feel pretty scared since we do all these transfers together, eh?!

Kyleb why don't you post in the thread forum on how you did that, it seems a lot of people got scammed there, maybe if you post it on there it will make scammers think prior to scamming someone

I proved I was scammed - had it all documented, and even then it's not common to have them reversed.

Also, my name is green because I am a mod of a forum (Health and Fitness).

I see, my friend was scammed by someone as well on Full Tilt, we know who the guy is in real life, but we emailed Full Tilt and they said they have nothing to do player transfers. Maybe in your case the scammer still had money in his account, I think if money is gone, there is nothing they can do.
