Default Wsop travel questions.

Was wondering if you go and book hotel near by what are going rates for that time (main event), also are the hotels usually lenient say if just booked for couple days and add on as you make it further into the tournament?

Wild West. Low rates and one mile due south of the Rio.

Shop for the lowest rates on www.i4vegas.com or similar discount websites.

Then call the hotel, and get them to match the discount rate (which they will nearly always do).

Then book direct with the hotel for the maximum duration that you might we planning to stay, paying just a single night's deposit up front. Then, if/when you get knocked out early, check out and leave.

Worst case, you will need to pay for that night's room, if the latest check-out time has already passed for that day.

That's a good site, but no discount site has all the discounts. Sometimes you have to check the hotel's website directly like I did.
