Why is starcraft more popular in South Korea than Warcraft 3?

^^seriously, i don't think terran players can be all that successfull without microing...the other 2 also, but especially so for terran players...

I think this is the equivalent of yelling strategies at basketball playes or boxers during a fight. these people are professionals and literally play starcraft 12 hours a day everyday...its insane. Sure you could yell at what units a dude is creating but they scout so well, I would imagine they generally knw more about what is going on than the crowd does.

it's more about yelling locations or hearing the crowd scream if they see a person starting to head for another guy's base...

also, there are often announcers and what they are saying can be heard throughout the whole room that the audience is in...in those cases, soundproof boxes are completely necessary.

Starcraft been out 5 years longer...

I as a wc3 player mostly don't think its that bad, I played my fair share of tournies, wcg, local lans etc with some decent results.

Still even when it was young it was still alot more popular than WC3 ever was especially in Korea.
