Default 2/4 Blind War

Just happened so I'm not using converter.

Hollywood Poker (5 Handed).

Hero is BB with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Two folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (2 players, 2 sb): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls,

Turn: (2 players, 3 BB): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

SB checks, Hero ?

In this case, the SB has been aggressive and comes out swinging every time he either hits anything on the flop or the flops looks like it probably missed me. I figured him for a 2 or a 3 (and possibly a T) when he bet out originally. Is it better for me to bet here or check behind?

Bet. I don't think it's particularly close.

Based on your read you could also figure him for nothing since this is a ragged flop. I'd bet the turn and fold to a checkraise.

Bet the turn and call down after a raise. You have top pair in a blind situation, that's a very strong hand.

You're losing value if villain has a hand he'll call the turn with.

Inducing a river bluff is best when you are pretty certain villain will fold to a turn bet, but he often bluffs.

Basically the best post on this.

You have to bet this. Depending on reads either fold to a 3 bet or call down if he is known to bluff. A lot of guys will habitually bluff checkraise in HU situations when the board pairs.
