Default Silly WSOP Hypothetical

One of my poker buddies asked me this one. I want to make sure I gave him the right answer.

It's the first hand and you have AA and everyone moves ... ok, no seriously, it's not that.

You're at the final table, 3-handed. All 3 players have roughly equal chipstacks and there's a crazy hand where everyone gets it all in. Your AA gets cracked. After the hand, these are the new chipstacks:

Hero: 50k
Bigstack: 50 million
Other shortie: 100k

Blinds are 50k/100k/10k or something like that.

Hero is BU, bigstack is SB, other shortie is forced all-in the BB.

What range of hands does Hero play in this spot?

Now, stacks are 100k Hero/50 million/100k. What range does Hero play?

Now, stacks are 150k Hero/50 million/100k. What range does Hero play?

Interesting
Without cheating and actually doing the math I'd say:

First hand: range = AA/KK/QQ/AKs

Second hand: if the chip leader scoops it what rules decides
spot 2?
- If it would be you than push any 2
- If it would be him then again AA/KK/QQ/AKs

Third hand: AA. KK is possibly close.

The chances of getting 1st are insignificant enough that we need to just ask ourselves "what is my best chance to finish 2nd" and that is the only thing that takes place in the decision making process IMO

Assume the payouts are the same as last year...

$12 million for 1st
$6.1 million for 2nd
$4.1 million for 3rd

Assume personal utility is a non-factor and we have a 50 billion dollar bankroll, so we are just trying to make the best possible $EV decision.

Well, while we're talking, lets go about it both ways.

1) If chip leader wins the hand, Hero and other shortie "tie" for 2nd/3rd and will each get 5.1 million.
2) If chip leader wins the hand, Hero and shortie's 2nd/3rd will be determine by who has the better hand. The winning hand between Hero and shortie will get 2nd/3rd respectively based on hand strength. If Hero/shortie chop, they tie for 2nd/3rd and each get 5.1 million.

If the money means nothing to you wouldn't where you finished mean more?

Plz to stop being a nit.

You understand my point. Disregard utility/fame/endorsement potential/blah blah blah (often a factor in decisions like this because the difference between amounts of money is so large that it impacts decision-making and there are various extraneous factors of that nature) and make a decision strictly based on $EV.

simple math that only gets attention because it is the WSOP where it will never happen as opposed to a $1.20 turbo on Stars

Hypothetical Situation:

You are in the World Series of Poker.
You are a man dressed like a woman dressed like a man.
You just got your 23o cracked after you flopped bottom two pair.
You are at 1 of the two final tables and you are feeling kinda sick from licking each chip you have won (this is your usual tournament ritual and it brings you good luck.)

Additional Note: You think you may have Hepititus B.

You have 100k chips in the big blind. The player on the button is an ultra aggressive player that still thinks you are a woman, but doesn't know you are actually a man dressed as a woman dressed as a man.

You just seen this guy win a hand on the river with A2 and snap a chip completely in half using two fingers.

He shows you one card, the 2 of diamonds then raises you and laughs. Last time he laughed it had a higher tone, this laugh seems to be in the C# range vs. the high A range last time he laughed when he was hold 57o.

The small blind folds, you look down at 55.

What do you do. Please give a detailed analysis.

Bonus question: What do you do if you lost your shoe and have only one shoe one.

Bonus Bonus question: What do you do if it were 66 instead.

Oh additional note, you highly suspect that the player in the small blind is the Zodiak killer.
