Re: Is poker still juicy?
[ QUOTE ]
Compared to '03-'05 the games today are beyond awful. It's night and day really. For someone to say the games are as juicy as ever is comical. Edit: Opinions, of course, will vary greatly depending on how long a player has been around. ___1___ [/ QUOTE ] This is probably true. But I was awful in '03-'05 as well. Everyone is running faster, but people who take the time to browse these forums had a headstart to work with anyway. |

Edit: Opinions, of course, will vary greatly depending on how long a player has been around. ___1___ [/ QUOTE ] I agree completely. The current situation compared to previous years is like night and day. I used to leave tables if there were only a couple fish sitting, now I think that's a good table. Less advertising options, less US friendly sites, and less easy deposit methods makes me believe it will get worse. Maybe I'm just bitter because my favorite sites were the smaller ones and I am unable to play at them anymore. |

I love that how US players refer to rich euro morons and europeans do the same towards US players.

Re: Is poker still juicy?
Here is my question. I only play a couple of sites that have been left open to Americans. Is there someone who regulary plays sites left open to americans and those not left open to americans. So are the non-american sites juicier than the american sites.

Re: Is poker still juicy?
All I know is that the damn donkaments I used to play have gotten ridiculously harder. I was a 12% ROI winner over a huge sample of $55 on Party Poker. Took some time off and even after honing my game back into shape am finding the $16 to be as difficult, if not more.
One of the guys who has been playing for a long time said the Stars $60's are harder than the Party $215's used to be. I do feel that cash games are still lucrative on Stars and FullTilt, although significantly harder. |
