WSOP Pre-Registration, advantages?

Hey guys, I just bought some entries into wsop prelim events using my stars FPPs. The email they sent encourages me to pre register at the wsop website.

Is there any advantage to doing so? At first I thought it might allow me to avoid standing in lines, but before you play in any wsop event you have to sign some T&C right? so i'd be standing in the same line anyway?

So has anyone here done the pre registration online and if so why?
