I'm opening up a charity driven poker room in my town and I'm looking for recommendations on what kind of poker cards should I buy? Kem? Copaq?
How long do most decks last? What kind do Casinos use? Thank you |

I am assuming you are looking for plastic cards.
It's a fairly new company, but I have been using Desjgn cards. Desjgn Cards They are not too expensive, and come in a lot of differnt colors. They are more firm and less slippery than KEMs. I think you should look into them. I also recommend using the samuel thomas company. They have been nothing but great to me. |

Check out this link here I started a while back.
I ended up buying Modiano Plastic Playing cards. Some of the responses were very helpful. KEM and Copaq are great decks as well. Good Luck! P |

I initially dug Copag and I really like the 4-pip Modiano... but I gotta say the KEMs seem to be lasting the longest. They don't fade like the Copags or get easily marked like the Modiano, and they seem to shuffle and pitch more easily than the others after extended use.

If you're using professional dealers I would use the Kem or Copag. Those two brands will last the longest and are almost impossible to mark or bend. But they are slippery and hard to handle for a lot of people.
If customers will be dealing their own cards, get bridge size Mondiano's with jumbo indexes. They have a rough texture and are easier to handle for inexperienced dealers. |
