"i think there should be an independent third party that acts between players and poker sites to resolve disputes. "

Actually, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission does that for ALL sites from Kahnawake. Before you scoff, would you prefer that the DOJ does it ?

Before you start making absurd statements realize that the Kahnawake gaming commission is about as real as your mama's titties. Might as well be the reese's peanut butter cup commission.

Kahnawake is a joke and has never resolved anything. All they do is collect tax money.

.... I don't know, they seem to have provided a valuable service to online players for years.

Who do you think provided a place for the industry to flourish for years ?

How many player disputes do you know they handle in a given year ?

Go read CM, WOL, CAP or any other casino portal. You will see they are nothing but a place that hosts online gambling sites. Search CM and you will see endles players that either never got a response or got a form letter and never heard back.

Is MiltonFriedman just a troll? He doesn't add anything to these forums.

PokerAddict is right, Kahnawake has never done anything to resolve an issue for a customer of any site they host. They just collect money from sites to allow them to say they are part of their wonderful client list.

Exactly. Kahnawake is an Indian reserve located in South West Quebec, Canada. They are ancestors of the Mohawk tribes and have an interesting history. Fill out some papers and your in. Just go to their website if you want to check it out. In many caes they are governed under a different set laws than most non-reserve citizens in Canada. It looks to me like you give them some poker site registration money and your in.
