zomg how does he have a fullhouse here though. he checks the flop with a set on a monotone flop?

QFT

This guy is a supernit, you have to put him on a big pair to 3bet preflop. If he hits his set I can't see him checking this flop so I really think you rule out KK and QQ. Most likely he had AdAx and was scared that you hit your set, remember he's a nit. When he hit his gutshot royal draw (probably first in his life) he didn't know what to do and that explains the erratic play. It's a tough situation but I really think this is a great fold if you have the discipline to let it go.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you put him on this emotional play, I'm almost certain he would want to show everyone his RF, so he would make a small Bet on the River to keep Hero in.

QQ or even KK makes most sense here, the c/c on the Turn for his outs to a boat/quads. So his river-push-range is AdAx, QQ, KK, we beat 2/3 so i would call this. If I lose, I have at least a good story for the next homegame

i dont think i could ever fold this. i also think if you fold this you lose the right to call someone a supreme nit ever. theres so much that you beat that would play this about the same that i think you have to call.

i dont see how anyone can ever fold anything higher then a fullhouse in a 200nl game, no matter the circumstances.

I dare anyone here to post a hand where theyve folded quads or higher in any game they personally have played in.

Dont fold, you have the second best hand in poker, even if he has the nuts, its a one in a million pay of, and a 99% profitable call.

Lol didn't even think of QQ but that does now seem an extremely likely hand for him to have given action.

Was this a jackpot table?

pure instinct tells me he has AdKx or Ad Ax like 95% of the time seriously. after you call a boat will go into c/c at the river as your turn cold call is super strong. all people saying call, you just got stacked i take it, prove me wrong with the results.....

If villain is a good player I don't see him having a boat here often.

That would be like going all in with the Qd on an all diamond board.

That being said, most people are stupid, so I call.

Lol, I guess people Zeebo you a lot then. Also, you need to not think of hands in terms of absolute strength but in terms of relative strength to the board and the betting. I folded a one card straight flush before because is was soo, soo painfully obvious that the other guy had the one card to beat me. You realise thinking 'zomg straight flush' is kinda similar to going broke with the K of diamonds on a 4 diamond board right? The board pairing changes things a bit here but same principal.

Edit : not saying this is a fold by any means, but its not a no-brainer either.
