Bax very likely has a set in hand 1, so do the math, it's prob a call.

Hand 2 insta call.

Call in the first one because you have the Ks and there is a small chance he is getting out of line with the bare As or some other weird hand.

I also call in the 2nd one just because he either has KJhh, KQhh, or something you beat like A9-AK, etc.

Hand 1 I fold. Your hand looks like a big PP, so I cant see what Bax would be pushing that your ahead of, (As 9x) not likely. I think your looking at a set here a good portion of the time, with the rest being a small flush.

Hand 2 I call, reluctantly. You haven't really shown a lot of strength. With the Turn check, on the Ah, I think he can be betting an ace here. I play it the same way, I think you have to call getting almost 3:1 on the river.

Hand 1: most of his range are sets but it could be something like an As. It's close, but I would prolly call.

Hand 2 : call

I suspect you are getting enough pot odds to call hand 1. You have like 35% equity against a set, which seems like enough, but I'm not going to do the math right now.

Correct! It's 35% against a set and pot is laying 2 to 1. We can safely assume Bax is not playing a made flush this way, right? Looking at the stack sizes in hand 2, and the fact that Bax is not around, I have a feeling he had a set and you called him and spiked the flush.

Hand 2 is a clear call to me...
