Default Table image - TAG or LAG?

What image do you guys want to portray? LAG and then get paid off with huge hands or TAG and pick it up a lot of pots with squeeze and Cbets.

What moves do you make to portray your wanted image and what are the most common situations for it?

Thanks

The opposite of what you really are is the best image to have.

I do not believe it is worthwhile to expend energy going out of your way to try and portray a certain image. Your energy is much better spent making sure you know what that is, whatever it may be, and adjusting to it.

A TAG will have hot sessions where they see 35% of the Flops for 200 hands, then get cold decked. Better to know what image you've portrayed over the last 200 and remember that your opponents do not know why you've only seen 4 of the last 50 Flops.

One thing you can do is be nice.A nice guy image is probably the most important image that you can have. If your behavior does a little something to enhance their experience of the game at your table, they may just start looking for you.

Mine needs work I think. A friend watched me play for about a half hour in a room last night. He said to me later that I looked really intense and almost had a scowl on my face the whole time. I concentrate a lot but I think I need to lighten it up a bit.

You can't really control your image, except by showing a hand you don't normally have to show. But usually the circumstances of playing will dictate your image. The most important thing is to be aware of it and act accordingly.
