Hmm that makes sense to me. I did make the call after all. The only reason I second guessed it afterwards was when I considered that the competition in the tournament was so soft that the chip lead I already had would be more than good enough to most likely get me in a top 3 spot. Against good players or decent players I couldn't afford to let this positive EV situation pass, but against really bad players, perhaps I should have? No doubt he was a really bad player pushing in that positon with pretty much any holding. JJ or QQ might make sense there... Maybe.

Even against bad players we are very shallow and its gonna get worse before it gets better, your skill edge, even if you were far and away the best player, is not that large due to the structure.
