A tad nitty, but you stayed out of trouble. I would call the minraise most of the time and reevaluate on river.

I would call this min bet and re eval. on the river.
On the river i would call a small to med. size bet and fold to a pot size bet.

Depends on Villain. But against the normal NL 25 player I shove here. He limped UTG. So I put him on a small PP or SC. 88 are unlikely since you have a 8 in your hand. 66 is possible. But I think most likely he has something like the 89 of clubs here.

I would say that this is pretty close to the read that I had.

Nothing more that Villains love to do, than limp UTG with AA/KK and hope someone raises it behind them, so they can limp RR, or try and trap someone on the flop when a player thinks their TP is goot.

Def call here for me, and probably a shove actually, looking for the donk to follow along with his overpair and stack off.

PS is it weird that I get like more pleasure from stacking off idiots in situations like this, than pretty much anything else in poker.

Isn't a mini RR a typical donk move to bluff people out of pots? Thats the impression I get from NL25.
