Default Live 3/6 TT hand

Live 3/6. Full/good table, was a little crazy for a few hours but has since calmed down. Villain in this hand is random old guy who just joined the table this orbit. The only thing I've seen him do was 2 hands ago when he called down with a bare ace-rag on a paint-heavy board and then checkraise-bluffed the river and got caught. Hero is UTG+1 with black TT.

UTG folds, Hero raises, folded to villain who calls on the button, blinds fold.

Flop is AA6 rainbow. Hero bets, villain says "let's see if I can't raise him off this hand" and raises, hero...?

What's my plan for the rest of the hand?

WA/WB. call. check-call all the way down.

I agree with TT in that this is a WA/WB scenario but given this guy's statement, I would expect to be shown at least an A a large percentage of the time.

Easiest flop fold ever.

As stated, unless the guy is a nit, I call and then check/call down. Since he is capable of making some weird plays, I think we have to call down without any reads, but due to the speech, I think we lose a decent amount of the time.

given the villain's description I expect to lose a large percentage of the time also, but that doesn't change the fact that the ideal way to play the hand is call - check/call.

The speech makes me think he has the Ace also.

How about 3 betting him, telling him his kicker is no good. It might get us the turn checked through.

and when you do, and he is bluffing how much money did you just leave on the table with this overly-agro move?

I don't know what low limit games you're used to, but it's pretty damn uncommon for me to see a 3/6 player fold because they were worried about a kicker problem. They'll just go into c/c mode.
