60s awkward bubble hand against laggy fish
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t250/t500 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t3190 Button: t8245 SB: t275 hero: t1790 Pre-flop: (4 players) hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises to t1000, Button folds, SB calls all-in t25, hero calls t500 (pot was t1525). Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (t2275, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: t825, Sidepot 1: t1450) hero checks, UTG bets t1000, hero calls all-in t790. UTG is laggy and known to bet dry pots and do all sorts of unpredictable retardedness. i just call preflop HOPING, PRAYING to just check it down. is there any point in pushing pf with so little FE? is this foldable preflop or on flop? |

I like your line. The LAG is going to need a pair to beat you so if that happens you have a very good shot at third.

If you're going to call all-in on flop with ace high, why not push flop?

Re: 60s awkward bubble hand against laggy fish
Sorry i really dont like this and dont see any reason to get involved pre flop (especially as the short stack has called) as you said you hoped to check it down but you need to invest over 50% of your stack to see if Lag is playing ball. Have u seen villain bet into a dry pot on bubble before?
