I think a standard 3 or 4x raise is fine here and I don't oppose limping to much either allthough I think raising is better. WIth that many people calling your raise just check down and on the river I call his bet but if anyone raises even min I'm folding for sure.

maybe it's me, but a 4x raise utg early in the tourney seems about right here. I have to call that river. Obviously villian doesn't have the nut flush, since you have the ace. So if he has a flush, but not the nuts, why is he not betting the turn? His river bet is very good regardless of his holding, give him credit for that, but I have to look this up.

Edit: I think villian shows KQ or a smaller pocket pair at least half the time.

I used to only raise to 90 pf but once I got one caller it was way to easy for other people to call along, especially the blinds. Lately I make it 120, so 125 is fine. I think calling the river is fine, its probably a weaker K more often than it is a flush or some better hand.

I find that early on I have to raise big to avoid getting a million callers. I don't really mind playing AK for a big pot. As for the guy who said that he only does 3BB for AA and KK, I think that is a mistake early on. With those hands you want to be building a big pot and not giving idiots with J9s good implied odds with a t90 bet. IMO, the key to winning these stakes it to not lose your big pairs,so I'm easily raising AA-KK 5-6BB at the first few levels.

Really unncessary, but if you get callers I guess its ok though it could help people identify your monster hands.
