Re: Who\'s the monkey here?
IMO the button should have folded as 9765 very easily end up having the bottom end of the straight.
QJT8 has the most credibility, even if it is not the favorite, especially if you can get all-in fourways so if it holds up you'd quadruple up. But in general I think there is a bit too much testosterone in that bidding. BTW what happened to the noble art of outplaying the others after the flop |

Re: Who\'s the monkey here?
What this all means is that you want one of the following:
1) the highest pair 2) the most live cards Unfortunately, if you don't have AA, it's hard to know if you have either of these, especially as you add more players. The other interesting feature of the OP hands is that between the four players, every single rank is held except deuces. This is on of the reasons the high pair doesn't do all that well here: he can't expect to win when a low pair comes on the board. |

Re: Who\'s the monkey here?
How do ppl feel about the button cold-calling the CO's 3bet regardless of his holding? Notice CO is shortstack and basically allin.

Re: Who\'s the monkey here?
C and D are fine in a multi way pref ai, as they are the best type of hands to beat AAxx or KKxx.
Hand B is definately the worst hand of the bunch and probably should have folded. Hand A is almost souly relying on plopping a set. But KKTT is tough to go ai pre b/c most people are up against AAxx when going, so you are relying on getting a set or having a paired board. |

Re: Who\'s the monkey here?
Its not been explicitly mentioned yet but as most of the high ranks will be out (AAxx v AAxx x KK/QQxx for two of the aggressors: Q~9 down to 6~9 stand a great chance of snipping it with 2pr - its not just about hitting the str8 but increasing your cachment from the available cards left in the deck.
