Default Flopped straight flush, did I get as much out of it as I could?

Not trying to be a brag post (although it's kinda cool), I'm new to limit and was curious if there was anything I could have done differently.

I'm not sure anymore if that's really the case, though it probably depends on the table. If you lead the flop I think, from my recent experience, that you just get a bunch of folds. If you play it like OP did I think you do better, although it smacks of FPS and it's obviously not the standard way to do things. If nobody bets the flop then I would go ahead and lead the turn.

I think this was played fine. However, you could have open-folded the flop in this hand, and it would not have impacted your win rate whatsoever. These hands are so rare that worrying about how to play them is virtually pointless. Get better at doing the things you do every time you sit down, like value betting, and then you'll be a better poker player. I'm going to lock this thread.
