I fold preflop as my standard line. IMHO ez check on turn, he's not folding AK in a 3 bet flop but might call a river bet if it goes ck/ck on turn with a weaker hand. No draws to worry about here.

Think you played it good, I´d usually fold to a 4-bet preflop, but you are getting very good odds. I think he had KK.
