Asked a dumb question before searching... But has anyone tried multitabling on a 1440 x 900 resolution screen or a laptop with a screen smaller than 17"?

I have a 12800x800 lappy, and I can 4 table with overlap. I also have an external monitor (Samsung 204T), which I can play a bunch more tables on. Get an external monny for sure.

Yes, i use a 15" 1440 x 900, IMO definately get the 17" Anything above 4 tables is really annoying/tiring to look at. 5 is bearable, but 6 is just plain bad.

I've 9 tabled on 1280 x 800 without any problems. It's just personal preference.

1. Before posting you should think, "Is this question REALLY about "Student Life" or is it about "Computers" and then reassess where to post it. This is for your own benefit. Also there have been about 500 threads in which every possible resolution and laptop has been analyzed. Try looking for a few of those and you would have had your answers faster.

notebookreview.com

The best site for notebooks, hands down.

I also own an E1705 (1440x900), and it's ok for multitabling, as long as your site has resizable tables. Four or six tables can fit pretty reasonably.
