Default What to do with $270 in tournament credit on Bodog?

I am a limit cash game player who entered a freeroll on Bodog for the hell of it, and managed to win $270 in tournament credits. As I dozed through the 2.5-hour tournament, folding 95% or whatever, I remembered why I hate tournaments.

Is there someway I can sell the credit or should I suck it up and play in another tournament? It looks like they have a $270 WSOP satellite that would give me a 1 in 48 chance of winning a seat at the main event. Going to Vegas might be fun but I sort of dread the thought of sitting at the table, possibly for days, playing in a tournament against 10,000 people or whatever. Also, I have basically no tournament skills. Advice?

play the WSOP satellite, you dont have to play in the WSOP the site just gives you like 12k in cash

I know you said you don't like tournaments, but they can only be used for any guaranteed tournament (cannot be sold). This includes the $270 WSOP tournies, the 50k and 100k tournies on Sunday, and several $100 + 9 guarantee tournies. I'd find some bigger ones with an overlay, and play them despite not liking tournies.

The WSOP satellites would have the fewest number of people, so likely would take the least long and would use all the credits up in one shot.

Edited to add that most of these tournaments mentioned pay out in cash, someone above said the 12k for the WSOP is paid out in cash as well. I know that's the policy on some other sites this year, but I don't know if that's how Bodog is doing it as well.

Can anyone confirm that it's cash to do as you please, or are there strings attached?

Thanks.

The tournament info shows that it pays T$12,000, which leads me to believe that they won't just give me the cash if I happened to win. Maybe I could sell the seat to the WSOP. I think I will study a little and give it a shot, might be fun. Limit cash games have been dead lately anyway. I still have enough Bodog points to enter ten more of the freerolls, so I'll probably try to score some more of these $270 credits.

I would give it a shot and if you win sell the seat off. This is what my friend did.
